Monday Madness!

It's Monday! Could be a good thing or a bad thing right? Well over at the Shoppe it is a good thing! Happy Halloween!

We had a little craft night and the girls and I made some Halloween bows. Their favorite part was the black cat buttons. You never know what the weather will be like on Halloween night, for us it is generally very chilly! So these bows will look really cute with their coats and gloves! Small Stacks

I love ribbon! I think the funnest part of my job/hobby is designing. I love putting different patterns and color combinations together. I haven't had to much time to design lately because we are so busy preparing for upcoming boutiques. So.... yesterday I took some time and came up with this little cutie. One of my favorite ribbons is the 3/8 gingham, I add this to several of my small stacks and I think it gives the bow a fun look. One of the most difficult things I have to do is come up with clever names for these bows to make them unique. I have had a few ideas come to mind, then I had a great idea.....Why not let you help me? So.... hop on over to facebook if you have an account, and leave me a suggestion, or you can do it here. Medium Basic Bows

I am a big fan of the Medium Basic Bows...they coordinate with just about anything! Yesterday for church, I curled Kate's hair and swept the front out of her face with the Black Medium Bow...so cute!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love pumpkin! I usually don't bake too much with it during the summer, but there is a hint of fall in the air....So I pulled out my favorite pumpkin recipe and whipped up a batch with the kids. I didn't take pictures because they inhaled them :) Maybe next time!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 1/2 Cups Pumpkin
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

I beat these together and then I add the dry ingredients

2 Cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix together well and add your chocolate chips!

Bake @ 375 for 12 to 14 minutes.
Perfection itself!

A little off subject I know, but I hope you like them.

I guess I should start by introducing myself. My name is Sherelle, and I am a BIG fan of Jen's beautiful handmade creations at All Things Ribbon. Jen has invited me to be a contributor on the blog, so every now and then, I will pop in to share a picture or two of my girls wearing her sweet hair accessories!

We have fallen in love with the headband sets. The sweet weave of color on the band is super fun, and the matching clips can be used with the headband or alone. Miss Lily wore hers to preschool today, and she had so many compliments!!!
